Company

Applied Computing & Engineering (ac&e) is company creating software based application that offline program robotics using path information derived from CAD models.

StruCIM

StruCIM Cutting automatically converts DSTV files into 3D CAD models of structural Steel members and then programs a robot to cut the features on the entire beam. This includes I-Beams, square tubes, bar stock, channels, and angles. the entire process takes 4 minutes and produces a program that can be run on the factory floor.

In addition, an entire job consisting of anywhere from 500 -5000 steel members can be read in, nested, and programmed, minimizing waste and maximizing throughput.

StruCIM Welding reads in various file formats such as IFC for beams and XML for wall panels, and automatically produces collision free welding programs with 5 mouse clicks.
